Hebrews 11:3

“It is by faith that we understand that the universe was created by God’s word, so that what can be seen was made out of what cannot be seen.”

God’s word is and should be our basis for believing Him. It has the power when engaged properly to bring out ‘things’ from ‘nothing’.  We may not know where they would come from but we are sure that God brought them and before Him there is nothing like ‘nothing’.

Nothing can be hidden from Him.

He sees the ‘nothing’ we see as ‘something’.

‘Nothing’ is a seed that can yield fruits only when we see this from God’s point.

So, what is that thing you believe God for?

Engage His word properly in Faith and see God being glorified in that situation.

Don’t give up!

Don’t get weary!

My love for God stems from His love upon me.

We scoop from His love and ‘give’ unto Him and others around also. God wants us to love Him and other humans aright and so we must depend on Him for this to be actualized. If we don’t love God then we have failed in acknowledging the love He has and is showering on us.

Do you love God?

Power, Love and Self-Control

2 Timothy 1:6-7

“For this reason I remind you to keep alive the gift that God gave you when I laid my hands on you. For the Spirit that God has given us does not make us timid; instead, his Spirit fills us with power, love, and self-control.”

For the Spirit that God has given us does not make us timid; instead, His Spirit fills us with power, love and self-control.

The gift that God has given us, Christians is His Spirit; which fills us with power, love and self-control.

Ponder on the blend of traits presented in this passage..

Even as you exert power, you do so in love and within specified boundaries.

LOGICALLY, it appears easier for a secular music artist to pull men to himself than Christ would because of the nature of the natural man. That nature easily clings to it’s kind and so, no much ‘stress’ is encountered when natural men are called upon for frivolities than when called to things that pertains to Christ.

This is what we should know; it is much easier for Christ to pull all men to himself than anyone would.

How? – Through the Gospel which is God’s power unto salvation.

We are usually scared and so tend to limit ourselves with that LOGICAL ideology. Know this today; preach the gospel and watch how easily men would turn to Christ Jesus at His time. The ease isn’t in the timing and the process or session has to be thorough with Christ as focus and He wouldn’t let it slide. So, no matter who Christ Jesus encounters He makes His light to shine brightly out of that dark heart.

The issue is with the message preached. We cannot expect Christ Jesus to transform a life when what we presented isn’t the Gospel.

And when the transformation doesn’t come we tag the whole thing ‘difficult’.

It isn’t difficult to win a soul. This is because it is not by human power that a soul gets transformed. The Holy Spirit convicts men and nothing is difficult or impossible for Him to do. Preaching the Gospel message of Christ Jesus crucified is the key to saving the souls of men.

Don’t tamper with the message!

Now, we look through the window to see the brightness of the morning.

The morning signals another day to continue our walk with Him; our Master and Friend. It is a righteous walk that has an expected end; a walk with the one who owns all of life.

I hope you don’t get scared anymore? I hope you don’t get weary as well because your source of strength is the One who gives strength.

But wait !!!

Why do you even get worried?

Why do you allow the cares of life wear you out?

Are they worth it?

They are not because you now walk with God Almighty.” Cast your cares upon me”, He said.

Have you done so?

Anyways, do not allow sin obstruct the light rays coming in through the window of your heart. You still have a mandate to live right and that you must do. Be still and know that He is God.

Christ Jesus loves you and that is why He is willing to walk and work with you. “What is man that You’re mindful of Him?” Even words can’t properly express why God loves you (us); we just catch a glimpse by the connection of our hearts with His. Please, do not lose that connection.

Do not because the One who loves you humbled Himself to do so and you should honour that loving gesture.

God bless you.

We all wake up to the same morning but from different beds. We all rise to see the brightness of the day but through different windows. Our eyelids open up without much hesitation when the light rays come but the eyebrows remain calm where they are. They’ve seen the morning long before the light rays were strong enough to stir our optical nerves to a response.

God is faithful. He brings the morning to us despite the bed we rise from. The morning signals another day to either continue our walk with HIM or make necessary reconciliations.

Let’s begin from RECONCILIATION.

Here we are given another opportunity to come into a loving relationship with God the Father through His son, Jesus Christ.

Have you felt loved before?

Have you felt loved by a fellow human?

How was it?

Despite the imperfections of a man, the love you felt was so overwhelming. Now, imagine when the God of all creation loves you; One who has no strand of unfaithfulness hidden in Him.

You must indeed be privileged to attract such kind of person to love you.

But then, He loves you already but you are not looking His way. He cares but you are not focused on Him. It is not your fault though. It is just a problem which you have ignored its solution. No man can look in the direction of God on His own and that is why ‘somehow’ it is not your fault.

But then, a man can decide to look or ‘not look’ and that is where you may be found wanting. When you accept Christ Jesus, the Holy Spirit gives you the power to look in the direction of God the Father. And when His Light hits your optical nerve cells, your eyes open to see His overwhelming love and hope for you. You need to come to Jesus Christ if you haven’t. If you have finally decided to do so, stop reading at this point and make this prayer willingly from your heart:

Lord Jesus, I come to You on this special day and I ask for mercy. Please forgive me of my sins and make me your own. Father, cleanse me with the blood of your dear son, Jesus, and make me whole. I accept you, Lord Jesus, as my Lord and Saviour. Please take control of my life and help me live for You in Jesus name, Amen.

If you made this prayer, place the words, ‘I have accepted Christ Jesus’ in the comment section below.

God bless you.

Wake Up

2 Corinthians 4:18b

The things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal. (NKJV)

What can be seen lasts only for a time, but what cannot be seen lasts forever. (GNB)

Yesterday still exists. It’s just that we can’t see it anymore as it has passed but we can surely and always make reference to it.

Tomorrow exists as well and is yet to come. We cannot see it but we can make plans for it.

They can be categorized as unseen.

Yesterday and tomorrow can be altered by those having divine powers but the physical men can unfortunately only touch today. Yet, the physical men still can’t touch ‘today’ so well because those on the other side can heavily alter it from yesterday and tomorrow and then sit comfortably to see its effects play out. Now, the inputs the physical man makes into ‘today’ are usually the effects of what the spiritual man has touched earlier.

Your yesterday can affect your today and tomorrow likewise!

God doesn’t want us to be mere men on the earth blinded to the mysteries surrounding it. We are living stones…We have eternal Life…We are led by the Spirit and not the flesh.

What does this tell you?

Physical is temporal, Spiritual is eternal. God has given us dominion already but we (some of us though) live ignorantly on our throne not knowing what to do to exert or exercise our dominion against the wishes and will of the enemy. There are spirits…but let the Spirit of God guide you. It is only on this platform (the Rock, Jesus) that our dominion is complete.

You’re valued

“If the Lord should mark iniquities, O Lord who could stand?”

No one is indeed worthy, just His grace that has kept us. So do not condemn yourself or allow the devil do so because there is still hope.

“O Israel, hope in the Lord; for with the Lord there is mercy, and with Him is abundant redemption.”

Note the words, ‘abundant’ and ‘redemption’. He would redeem your life much more than you expected.

“And He shall redeem Israel from all his (Israel) iniquities.”

Our Lord is faithful!!!
Come to Him and receive His forgiveness, He’s waiting.

Psalms 130:1-8

There is something about man in the presence of God that we’ve not clearly understood. Logically, we’ve not been able to reason out clearly why God will continually throw Himself out for the sake of man.

And when I say throw out, I mean God constantly reaching out to man from beginning till date against all odds. Him always always showing concern and willingness to help and rescue us at all times despite how stubborn we can be.

All we can say is that this is love but such depth of love we’ve not been able to measure. Such kind of love we’ve not been able to say, “okay, it is to this level that He loves me and that is all”. No, we’ve not. We only see the actions that represents or stretches our understanding of His love from time to time.

So at this point I also join to ask, “What is man that You are mindful of him…” [Psalm 8:4]

This question at this moment is real to me and I can in a way feel what the originator felt before popping this question.

Who are we to God to have Him show us an immeasurable amount of love?

And at the end, a crown has He prepared for those who overcome. With what I’ve seen I’m undeserving of any crown; Christ is. What have we done that requires such level of honour to be given to us???

Beloved, nothing at all.

The crown is a reward for loyalty from God Almighty Himself. Now, that’s an honour which shouldn’t be joked with. The favour is much and missing out on it is not an option worth considering at all. Our journey here on earth is an opportunity to prove and show our loyalty to Him no matter what it takes us.

We don’t deserve a crown so as to request for one ourselves but God has decided to give it to us if we stay till the the end. He has once again decided to crown us with glory and honour for being a good and faithful servant.

Jesus loves you!!!
